Williams on how women are viewed in the media and called for tabloids to be called out for how they perceive women and acknowledge that there are mental health consequences when it comes to systemic oppression and victimization.
Amanda Gorman, known as the poet that wowed at Biden’s Inauguration also showed her support of Meghan, comparing her to Harry’s mother, Diana. “Meghan isn’t living a life without pain, but a life without prison. This isn’t Meghan’s princess ‘happy’ ending. But sometimes change, the decisions that bring us the most hurt, aren’t about happiness but healing,” Gorman tweeted.
Meghan is living the life Diana should have, if only those around her had been as brave as she was. Meghan isn’t living a life without pain, but a life without a prison.
