Meek Mill details how he’s been very high, and very low, in the video for the title track from his new album, “Expensive Pain,” which he debuted Tuesday.

The Philly MC shows the high life, flying in private jets, riding in a Rolls-Royce, buying diamond bracelets, and enjoying champagne toasts. He also remembers when he was poor.

“I was broke for 13 years,” Mill admits. “My stomach was hurting. I really starved some nights.”

In the clip, which features appearances by Jay-Z and Fabolous, Meek has a message for people living the gangsta life. “It’s easy to pull a trigger,” he says, “but it ain’t easy to pull your mama out of the ‘hood,” as we see his mother walking in the video. “That’s a real man’s job. We trying to be young kings.”

Expensive Pain is Mill’s fifth studio album, following Championships in 2018. It features Lil Baby, Kehlani, Lil Uzi Vert, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, Lil Durk, A$AP Ferg, Brent Faiyaz, Giggs and Vory.

Meek will perform music from the new project at his star-studded “Expensive Pain: Meek Mill & Friends” album playback concert on October 23 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
